Tourmaline Green Gem Dragon

Description

I don't do swirled color mixes in clay all that often, mostly because it's hard to find the right point between too-mixed and not-mixed-enough. This was actually the reject version of a recent custom order, where I decided that the teal and green colors were too mixed together and had to start over. But I still had the partially mixed clay, so I ended up making this little guy. I paired him up with one of my favorite tourmaline green rhinestones. I love that shade of green so much, but it's hard to find clay colors that go with it. I thought these matched up pretty well.

Crafted out of Premo brand polymer clay and a Swarovski crystal rhinestone.

Green and blue

He has a really cool texture :). I wouldn't have normally thought that bright green and turquoise would go together so well, but it really works here.
