Description
Time for a revamp of one of my favorite poses - the aggressive hunting pose! This dragon's totally ready to pounce on something like a tiny grasshopper, or maybe a wayward leaf.
I was trying to evoke the image of a stalking cat with this dragon, and I think it's more successful than my earlier endeavors. I really like the upturned tail as well as the angle of the body. Made with my favorite stone-textured clay and putting that glittery black clay to good use on her accents. Husband pointed out that she would have been an awesome Egyptian-themed dragon if I'd used blue instead of black, and I'm inclined to agree. Gonna save that idea for next time...
This dragon has been sold, but you can still view additional photos via her Etsy listing.
