Here's my latest commission! The client requested a pearly white dragon with rainbow accents that was styled after my Prince of Fire
dragon. She is similarly oversized, and stands nearly three inches tall, instead of the usual two inches. She's holding a really pretty piece of dichroic glass, and her accents are a blended rainbow gradient. Boy, that was a challenge - figuring out how to blend all those colors together so that they'd all fit on something as small as a wing. I wasn't able to get the blends super smooth due to the limited amount of space, but I like the slightly swirled look that I ended up with, plus I think the colors look beautiful all together like that. I wasn't going to use a color blend for the horns, but I had some leftover clay so why not? In the end, it all worked out. Happy maker, happy customer, it's all good.
