Rainbow Elementals: Air Dragon

Description

It's been quite a while since I made that original set of elemental dragons (about a year!), so I thought it was time to give the theme another shot. I've had the idea for a translucent rainbow set of elemental dragons in my head for the longest time, and I finally decided to just sit down and do it. I actually made all of these dragons in late July/early August - it's just taken me this long to get around to editing their photos. ^^;

Anyway, I'm going to start off with the Air Elemental! This was actually the last one of the set that I made, but she doesn't fit in with the others color-scheme-wise, so I'm just going to get her out of the way (sorry girlie!). It's pretty much impossible to tell in the picture, but her body's actually a mix of blue and white translucent clay. It's a bit more noticeable in person, but it's a pretty subtle effect. I gave this dragon a set of rainbow accents because air and rainbows go together in my head (even though it's a bit more of a water thing, hush). She also has a pale pink gem set in her forehead that lets her control the element of Air at will!

This dragon has been sold, but you can still view additional photos via Etsy.
