Little Buddies

Happy Raturday!

So.... I have pet rats, and I like taking pictures of them every now and then. I know I'm not a very good photographer, but I still thought it would be fun to share some of my better photos. This is a picture my very first two rats, Moby (American blue capped dumbo rex) and Starbuck (black bareback), very soon after I first got them. The size difference is pretty amazing, especially because they're only a week apart in age. Moby came from a pet store, and Starbuck was a shelter baby. This was taken when they were about 8-9 weeks old, during their initial introduction. They look like they're best friends, but in truth, they were more like roommates that put up with one another out of necessity. They've both passed on at this point, but they were a wonderful introduction to pet rat ownership!
