Floating Elemental Air Dragon

I was feeling sad yesterday, so I decided that instead of fretting about things and browsing the web uselessly, I'd take some time off and draw. Gosh, I really needed the reminder that drawing on the Surface Pro is FUN! I enjoyed myself so much, even if it took the entire afternoon to draw this (yeah, I am super slow). I need to remember not to press so hard with the pen, though - my hand is kind of sore today. e_e

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to draw the air elemental dragon I posted the other day, so here's the digital rendition of her! I imagine her wings are more for show than for actually flying with - she uses her elemental powers to float herself everywhere. One might call her lazy, but she swears she's just being efficient! Her horns and wings trail misty streams of colors, kind of like the afterimage you see after staring at something bright, and the gem on her forehead glows when she's using her powers.
